Product Description

Concrete release agent is a substance applied to the construction template before the concrete is poured, so that the template does not stick to the surface of the concrete after pouring, not easy to dismantle the mould, or affect the finish of the concrete surface. Its main role in the template and the concrete surface to form a film will be separated from the two so it is also known as isolation agent.

Formoil-100
 

Xystone® Formoil-100 is a chemical release agent for use on both timber and steel moulds. It also protects both steel and timber formwork by acting as a rust inhibitor and waterproofer.

Product characteristics

 

1. Equally effective on both steel and timber moulds, allows for fast and easy striking of formwork.
2. Economical and easy to apply through conventional spray equipment;
3. Highly stable during placement and vibration of concrete;
4. Does not stain or contaminate the finished concrete surface;
5. Regular use will help to reduce the incidence of rust on steel moulds.

Recommended dosage:0.05-0.1% of total volume, according to the type of raw material and the demand for appropriate mixing to determine the appropriate dosage.

Usage and Precautions

All surfaces must be clean and free from grease, dirt and old concrete. The optimum method of application is by conventional spray equipment. However, a brush or roller can also be used. Any excess liquid remaining on the surface after application should be mopped off. Allow 1-3 hours to dry before pouring concrete. Formoil-100 is supplied ready to use and should not be diluted.

1. Packed in paper-plastic composite ,200KG/drum packaging, the storage period is 12 months from the date of production, if it exceeds the shelf life, it must be verified by test and inspection before use;

 

1. Place in a ventilated and dry place for storage, pay attention to moisture-proof treatment, avoid direct sunlight, use it in time after opening, and seal it in time if it is not used up to prevent moisture absorption and deterioration.
