Concrete release agent is a substance applied to the construction template before the concrete is poured, so that the template does not stick to the surface of the concrete after pouring, not easy to dismantle the mould, or affect the finish of the concrete surface. Formoil-100
 

Xystone® Formoil-100 is a chemical release agent for use on both timber and steel moulds. It can also offers protection to both steel and timberformwork as it acts as a rust inhibitor and waterproofer.

Product characteristics

Recommended dosage:0.05-0.1% of total volume, according to the type of raw material and the demand for appropriate mixing to determine the appropriate dosage.

Usage and Precautions

All surfaces must be clean and free from grease, dirt and old concrete. The optimum method of application is by conventional spray equipment. However, a brush or roller can also be used. Any excess liquid remaining on the surface after application should be mopped off. Allow 1-3 hours to dry before pouring concrete. Formoil-100 is supplied ready to use and should not be diluted.
