Product Description

Air entraining agent is a kind of special admixture. It dissolves in water and is added to the concrete mixture. It can produce a lot of tiny bubbles during the mixing process.
Functions:

1. Improve the fluidity, cohesiveness and water retention of concrete mixes.
2. Improve the bending strength of concrete, when the gas content is 3%-5%, the bending strength can be increased by 10%-20%.
3. Enhance concrete's freezing resistance, salt resistance, impermeability, sulfate resistance and alkali aggregate reaction resistance.
4. Improve the volume stability of concrete, enhance the weather resistance of field structure, and extend the service life of road concrete.

1. Reduce water secretion and segregation of concrete, improve the homogeneity of concrete.
2. Air-entraining agent has lower modulus of elasticity, less rigidity and better flexibility.

AE-530 is a specialised surfactant blend developed for concrete, exhibiting excellent compatibility with various admixtures such as polycarboxylic acid superplasticisers.

Usage and Precautions

1. When in use, it must be blended with various admixtures such as polycarboxylic acid superplasticisers, and mixed according to the requirements of different construction areas;
2. It should constitute 0.02% to 0.2% by weight of the concrete admixture; the precise dosage must be determined through trial mixing based on the application system and construction conditions;
3. For concrete requiring high frost resistance or winter construction, the dosage should be determined experimentally according to the concrete's air content requirements;
4. The air-entraining capacity is influenced by the materials used in the concrete mix and the ambient temperature during mixing. It must be maintained as stable as possible to control fluctuations in air content.

1. Packed in 180KG Plastic Drums and 1000KG IBC Drums is 12 months from the date of production, if it exceeds the shelf life, it must be verified by test and inspection before use;

 

1. Place in a ventilated and dry place for storage, pay attention to moisture-proof treatment, avoid direct sunlight, use it in time after opening, and seal it in time if it is not used up to prevent moisture absorption and deterioration.
