Concrete Viscosity Modifiers RH-430

RH-430 is a new type of reaction synthesized macromolecular polymer solution. It can effectively improve the working performance of fresh concrete and make the viscosity of the mix reach a good balance between fluidity, passability and anti-separation.

Product characteristics

(1) RH-430 contains water-soluble polymers that modify the rheology of the mixture, optimizing stability by adjusting the slurry viscosity.Adjusting paste viscosity for optimum stability.

(2) It improves the flow and stability of concrete by improving the properties of the concrete paste rather than increasing the amount of cementitious material.

Scope of application

1. Self-compacting concrete
Segregation may occur when the self-compacting concrete mix with less powder content is not affected by moisture changes.Adding viscosity-modifying admixtures to self-compacting concrete increases the resistance of concrete to segregation and improves the robustness of concrete to moisture changes.

2. Pumped concrete
In pumped concrete, aggregate blockage at the bend of the pipe is the most common problem.Adding modified admixtures can improve the viscosity of pumped concrete and prevent pumping segregation.

3. Underwater concrete
In case of underwater concrete, the concrete must have a high viscosity to prevent scouring during underwater construction. To prevent flooding, modified viscosity admixtures are added to underwater concrete to improve the cohesiveness of the mix. Therefore, it can also be called an anti-scouring admixture. It also increases the durability of underwater concrete structures. Generally, when concrete is placed underwater, the water becomes turbid due to cement dust generated by the concrete. But when RH420 are used, dust is not generated and the water remains transparent, which will make the concrete easier to place.
